PROVEN TECHNOLOGY
T1 Services have been available for over 30 years.  Over this time the technology has improved and become increasingly more stable.  Failures are rare and when they do happen they are easy to isolate, and repair times are kept to a minimum thereby increasing your uptime. A mature highly reliable technology ensures secure congestion free service. 
Your T1 service is delivered over fiber Optic or conditioned copper lines.  These lines are all tested at the time of installation to meet the tariff specs. This ensures that the lines are pristine and free from interference that can hinder data communications. T1 are delivered point-to-point and not shared as DSL and cable.
 This is dedicated point-to-point circuit rather than shared access which is the topology of both cable and DSL.  A dedicated connection is much more secure and provides guaranteed bandwidth rather than best effort which essentially is no guarantee provided by the cable and DSL companies.

FCC AND PSC REGULATED
As a regulated service, telephone companies are required to abide by strict policies and procedures regarding the installation, maintenance and repair of T1 services.  Part of those regulations call for the timely resolution of technical issues.  Timely response to problems leads to timely repair and less down time for you. There is no governmental mandate for either cable or DSL. The carriers are subject to significant finds for not complying with the tariff.

SYMMETRIC SPEED
T1 have the same upload speed as download speed. 1.5mbps UP, 1.5mbps DOWN. The same speed in both directions makes the service perfect for two way communications such as VPN and VoIP.
